Yula Stupak won the sprint battle before Ebba Andersson and Jessie Diggins in a hard and even 10-kilometer race.

The winner had to fight hard to get over the finish line first.

- It was a very tough race, but also very tactical, she said.

But it was not just the ski race that meant a lot to Yula Stupak today.

It happened on the same day as her son's birthday.

And she became emotional when she described how it felt not to be allowed to celebrate him.

- I also want to say one important thing that it is a year since my son was born.

I want to say congratulations to him.

I miss him very much.

- I'm so happy I won because this is my gift to him.
