Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of the Dubai Sports Council, received His Excellency Mahmoud Al-Khatib, President of the Egyptian Al-Ahly Club, at the Council's headquarters in the Dubai Design District, in the presence of Nasser Aman Al Rahma, Assistant Secretary General of the Council.
At the outset of the meeting, he congratulated Al-Hareb Al-Ahly Club for winning the "Dubai Globe Soccer" award as the best club that achieved achievements in the Middle East, as well as for its strong competition in the Century Club category, whose title went to Real Madrid. Al-Khatib thanked the leadership and people of the UAE for the love and brotherly bonding between the Emirates and Egypt, as well as the overflowing feelings and appreciation for Egyptian sports in general and for the Al-Ahly Club in particular, and the club's winning of many championship titles and awards on the land of the UAE, and said, "The UAE is a good face for us, and we love to visit it. Always playing here or meeting with brothers and friends, "he also expressed his thanks for the warm reception and the meeting with those responsible for the sport.
During the meeting, they discussed ways of cooperation between the Dubai Sports Council and Al-Ahly Club, and any future initiatives in the field of strengthening fraternal relations between the two brotherly peoples through sports.
