Djurgården stood up very well against Brynäs this time.

During the first two periods, the team had a shot advantage with 17-12 even though Brynäs had the lead after Lara Stalders goal in the first period.

But in the end, it came loose for Brynäs "super chain" Lara Stalder-Katerina Mrazova and Josefin Bouveng, who were behind four of five goals

Rapid expansion

In the final period, Brynäs opened strongly and after only three and a half minutes, Patricia Marschall made it 2-0 on a pass from Stalder and Mrazova.

Just a few seconds later, the team was close to another goal.

When Julia Östlund in Djurgården went on an expulsion, it looked dark for the team.

But they rode it out and sometimes managed to push Brynäs back in search of reduction.

Puck theft

Instead, the Czech Katerina Mrazova could twist the puck in Djurgården's zone and dribble through and ease up 3-0 behind Wilma Nilsson.

Then there were barely eight minutes left of the match.

The nail in the coffin came after 14.33 when Lara Stalder went all alone through the entire zoo defense and put 4-0.

In the very last second, Denisa Krizova put 5-0.

- They are very skilled players so it is difficult to meet, said Djurgården's goalkeeper Wilma Nilsson about Brynäs first chain.
