- Everyone expects us to win, says Montpellier professional Lucas Pellas.

On January 12, the Swedish national handball team travels to Egypt and the World Handball Championship.

Usually, the teams prepare for the championship by playing training matches.

But this time it's different.

Sweden will have time to play two international matches against Montenegro - one at home and one away - in three days.

- We played two training matches before the European Championships last year, now it will be qualifiers and matches that really matter, says Daniel Pettersson.

Sweden is the favorite to move on as one of two teams from the four-team group containing Romania, Kosovo and Montenegro.

- Everyone expects us to win and go to the European Championships. The pressure is on us, but we have to live with it in everyday life all the time, says Lucas Pellas.
