The World Cup, which doubles as the annual "Jump Week" for men's ski jumping, was held in Austria on the 3rd, and Yukiya Sato was ranked 5th in the top of the Japanese team.

The tournament, which doubles as the third match of the year-end and New Year's annual "Jump Week", which competes in four World Cup games, was held in Innsbruck, Austria on the 3rd, and four Japanese players including Sato participated.

The tournament will be held in such a way that 50 people who have passed the qualifying will play against each other in the first time, and the top 5 of the 25 winners and the losers will advance to the second time.

On this day, a large hill with a hill size of 128 meters was contested, and Sato, who was 26th in qualifying, played against Ryoyu Kobayashi, who was 25th.

First, Sato jumped the first time and marked 126 meters 50, which is close to the hill size.

Kobayashi, who flew in succession, beat Sato in a big jump of 132 meters, which was the longest unbeatable of the day, over the hill size.

Even so, Sato was in the top 5 of the losing players and advanced to 17th place for the second time.

In the second round, the flight distance was greatly extended to 130 meters from a powerful railroad crossing, and Sato moved up the ranking with a total of 245.6 points to finish in 5th place at the top of the Japanese team.

On the other hand, Kobayashi advanced to the second time with a third place approaching the top and only 3.4 points in the first time, but did not extend the flight distance to 123 meters and finished 7th with a total of 244.3.

Among other Japanese players, Keiichi Sato was in 20th place, and Kobayashi's older brother Junshiro Kobayashi did not advance to the second time.

The winner is Poland's Kamil Stoch, the first victory of the season.
