Real Madrid is close to completing a contract with the Bayern defender

Spanish newspaper "Marca" confirmed that Real Madrid is close to concluding a contract with Bayern Munich defender David Alba (29 years old).

The newspaper said that the club agreed on the outlines of the contract, and that the transfer will be officially completed after the end of his current contract with Bayern on June 30.

The newspaper stated that the offer made by the riyal includes an annual salary of up to 10 million euros for four years, in addition to other bonuses.

Real sees Alba as a solid defender, able to occupy many positions, whether as a left-back or a central defender, and he may be a substitute for the leader Sergio Ramos in the event of his departure, in addition to his ability to occupy the place of Marcelo, as Alba is distinguished on the offensive side as well.

The Austrian star played 404 matches with Bayern, during which he scored 39 goals, while 49 goals were passed.

Remarkably, throughout his career, he was not exposed to any red card.
