Brazilian stars Igor Cornado and Wilton Swirez led their Sharjah team today to finish the year 2020 in the Arab Gulf League summit, after they scored two goals to win 2-0 at the expense of its guest Ajman, during the confrontation that brought the two teams together at Sharjah Stadium in the 12th round.

With this victory, Sharjah raised its score to 29 points, preserving the lead, achieving the ninth victory, while inflicting its guest the ninth defeat in the league, as Ajman froze at only three points.

This loss further deepened his wounds and complicated his position in the competition ranking.

Igor Kornado scored the goal early, precisely in the seventh minute, taking advantage of a perfect pass from his colleague Wilton Suarez, while Suarez added the second goal in the 89th minute, from a penalty kick that was calculated in his favor after being fouled inside the penalty area.

Suarez raised his score to 11 goals in the top of the two goals in the league, while Ajman suffered from several problems in its ranks during the match, as the team was affected by the absence of essential elements that could have made the difference against a large team such as Sharjah.
