Players 'agents expect that the winter transfers, which begin next Tuesday, and will continue until February 1, 2021, will witness many hot deals in sympathy for the clubs' need to sign new players after a large number of them, especially foreigners in particular, showed their modesty.

In an interview with Emirates Today, they confirmed that "half of the Arab Gulf Football League clubs need to be changed from two to four foreigners in the same team," noting that the transfers of citizens will be very few for most clubs to stick to their players.

They said that Al-Ain, Shabab Al-Ahly and Al-Wahda clubs will take the lead in view of their need for change, in addition to the continuing impact of the pandemic on the "Mercato" in general.

Al Ain tops the list of clubs whose fans are not satisfied at the level of foreigners, despite the efforts of the Angolan Wilson Eduardo during the past period. However, the change in change may affect him along with the Kazakh Islam Khan after the AFC decision to suspend him for two years due to doping, while the Brazilian duo Carlos Eduardo and player have not proven Cape Verde, Hildon Ramos, for their merits with Al-Ahly youth, who are suffering because of the modest results.

The same applies to Al Wasl, who is in the tournament with four new players compared to last season, but the fluctuation of the levels of Brazilian Figredo, Argentine Oroz, Brazilian Mendes and Santos Neres, making more than one of them a strong candidate to leave next January.

In victory, the change may affect the Dutch Kwas, who does not satisfy the general public, while foreigners have not made the expected addition, especially the Moldovan Louvainor with many injuries, while the clubs of the last centers are expected to make Khorfakkan, Fujairah, Ajman and even major changes in the ranks of foreigners.

The Al-Jazeera and Sharjah teams remain somewhat of an exception, thanks to the stability of the level of foreigners, and the continuation of the two teams to achieve positive results, especially since they are currently leading the Arab Gulf League in partnership.

The well-known players' agent, Walid Al-Shamsi, said that the mercato will be affected economically due to "Corona", especially since a number of club representatives cannot travel as comfortably as before, to negotiate or follow the player in question closely.

He said, "Foreigners in Al-Ain have disappointed their hopes, and change is highly expected, while Al-Ahly's youth, after the arrival of the new coach, Mahdi Ali, will seek to make new contracts, and there is also the unit, and in my opinion, the big teams are in a bad situation, so there is no time to enter the contracting market."

For his part, the players' agent, Munther Ali, considered that all indications confirm that the transfers will be hot, and said: "The absence of the distinguished level has made foreign players more vulnerable to change at the present time, not citizens."

The Tunisian Omar Sadiqi, who has been in the country since 2010, confirmed that Al Ain and Al Wehda will enter the transfer market with all their weight in order to correct the course, while a team like Al Jazeera is unlikely to achieve positive results.

He said that the general situation in the world as a whole, and the desire of many clubs to stick to their players, especially at the current time, may cause a dearth of foreign players during the Mercato winter.

"Clubs may struggle to sign distinguished players in the middle of the season," he said.

Clubs have signed 451 players in 2020

According to the statistics regarding the registration of players in the Football Association since last January, and during the winter and summer transfers in 2020, the Arab Gulf Football League clubs concluded 451 transactions, including 103 registrations in the winter transfers alone.

In detail, the summer transfers at the beginning of the current season witnessed the registration and registration of 348 players for the Arab Gulf League clubs, which varied between 255 national players, four children of female citizens, 28 resident players, eight born in the country, and 53 foreign players, while the “Winter” in January 2020 witnessed 103 transactions. .

• Citizen transfers will be very few for most clubs to hold onto their players.

• Al Jazeera and Sharjah are not candidates to enter the transfer market, due to their distinctive results.
