Ten years after their collaboration with the French team and the Knysna fiasco, Raymond Domenech and Robert Duverne will work together again.
The former coach of the Blues had carte blanche from Kita to come with an assistant, with the internal blessing of Patrick Collot, and he chose the one who was his physical trainer during his tenure with the Blues (2006-2010 ).
Last week the names of Blahic Bompard and Duverne circulated for this deputy post.
Ultimately it should be Duverne.

The best-known lap timer in the history of French football will arrive this time as an assistant, since the post of physical trainer is already occupied by Cyril Moine.
Without a club since the end of his Chinese adventure in Bruno Genesio's club, Robert Duverne had already been Erik Sikora's assistant on the Lensois bench in 2017, before joining the MLS with Rémi Garde.
His arrival should be formalized during the press conference presenting Domenech, scheduled for Thursday, December 31 at Jonelière.
