The most popular Chrono Genesis won the year-end annual horse racing G1 race and Arima Kinen.
This year's 65th Arima Kinen was held on a 2500-meter turf course at Nakayama Racecourse in Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture, and 16 horses selected by fan voting and other races participated.
The most popular Chrono Genesis asked for a chance to move forward a little behind until the middle of the race.
Then, on the last straight line, he speeded up at a stretch and overtook the horse that was ahead to win the championship.
Chrono Genesis won the third G1 race following last year's "Akihana Award" and this June's "Takarazuka Kinen".
Jockey Yuichi Kitamura, who took the reins, said, "He ran as usual. I want to be the one who will continue to pull the horse next year without giving up to the much talked about Triple Crown horse."
The 2nd place was the 11th most popular Sarakia, and the 3rd place was the 2nd most popular Fierement.
