The wife of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council of the Union and Ruler of Sharjah, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, President of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs and President of the Sharjah Foundation for Women Sports, has blessed the graduation of the first batch of the “Pioneers of the Future Sports” diploma, which was launched under the patronage Her Highness, she congratulated them on their success and wished them success in their new journey.

In a speech addressed to the female graduates of the first class at the ceremony that was held remotely the day before yesterday, and transmitted on the Sharjah Sports Channel, where the number of female members reached 25, Her Highness said that the graduation of "pioneers of the sports future" is a distinguished achievement for women’s sport.

Her Highness added: “I am pleased to address you to witness a remarkable achievement in women's sports in the UAE. Its march began in the Emirate of Sharjah since the eighties, and its first fruits were evident in 1997 with a sports tournament for girls and women in the GCC countries, and from that date we are witnessing a renaissance of women’s sport in the region based on the Emirate of Sharjah. And from the Women's Sports Department at the Sharjah Ladies Club to the Sharjah Foundation for Women’s Sports, which is an independent and integrated institution that not only embraces talented players and brings them to professionalism, competition and winning prizes and medals, but also organizes the Games for Arab Clubs for Women, which is the largest women's sports gathering in the Arab world. ».

Her Highness added: “With the honorable achievements of the Sharjah Foundation for Women’s Sports, the foundation has gained the confidence of the most important sports organizations, and it has a prominent representation in many sports organizations, and it is the story of ambition, and it continues as we celebrate 25 female graduates of the Future Pioneers of Sports Program. You are the first female academic generation of Women leaders in this field, and you will have a footprint in guiding the march of women's sport and upgrading it, so I recommend that female graduates use the knowledge and experience obtained from this program, to write with your achievements a new chapter to chart the future of women's sport, and to present an honorable image of the representation of women in all sporting forums » .

For her part, the Director General of the Sharjah Foundation for Women’s Sports, Nada Al-Naqbi, thanked and gratitude to Her Highness, and said in a press statement: “Our celebration would not be complete without the partnership with the Sharjah Sports Council and the strong will of the female graduates who passed 22 sessions over the course of 33 days, by 150 An hour between visits to clubs and federations, as this effort was not wasted, and now there are 25 female graduates.Sharjah Foundation for Women’s Sport had the lead in attracting three qualified individuals to this initiative, while others were nominated from clubs and federations in the country, and this initiative had the greatest impact in activating The role of women in the electoral process for the upcoming sports federations and clubs ».

The first five female graduates were honored, who were awarded the distinction: Al-Yazia Sultan Al-Suwaidi, Wasim Al-Sawan Symposium, Kholoud Issa Al-Zarouni, Ghalia Abdullah Al-Mazmi and Latifa Yaqoub Al-Mazimi.

The first batch of the diploma is the first and only in the UAE and the Arab world, and was launched with the aim of enhancing the role of women in society and providing them with sports leadership skills, in addition to raising a qualified generation of women leaders in the sports field.

The diploma is the first in the Arab world, and the female graduates have passed 22 courses over a period of 33 days.
