Last month, Argentine state media told prosecutors that no alcohol or illegal drugs were detected in the body of Maradona, a soccer superstar and former Argentinean representative who died during home recuperation.

Maradona continued to receive medical treatment at her home in the suburbs of Buenos Aires, after undergoing head surgery early last month, but died on the 25th of last month at the age of 60.



In an online article dated 23rd, Argentine state media Teram said that blood and urine were analyzed, while alcohol and illegal drugs were not detected, according to prosecutors investigating the cause of Maradona's death. He said that multiple drugs were detected, including antidepressants and drugs for the treatment of alcoholism.



Maradona led Argentina to victory at the 1986 World Cup Mexico tournament, but was suspended for using drugs that were banned at the American tournament eight years later, and he is often addicted to drugs even after retiring. I collapsed due to such reasons and was repeatedly hospitalized and discharged.



According to state media, Maradona's cause of death was determined to be acute heart failure as a result of autopsy, and prosecutors are investigating whether treatment for Maradona was appropriate.
