Real Madrid has again joined La Liga next to leader Atlético Madrid.

Coach Zinedine Zidane's team defeated Granada 2-0 on Wednesday evening.

In Serie A, AC Milan kept the lead by beating Lazio at the last minute: 3-2.

Real created the necessary opportunities against Granada, but failed in the completion.

For example, Karim Benzema failed to find the net a number of times and a bet from Marco Asensio ended up on the post.

Twelve minutes after the break, Casemiro was accurate.

The Brazilian headed close from a cross by Asensio.

Deep in injury time, Benzema made the decision from the edge of the sixteen-meter area for the home team, which booked the fifth league victory in a row.

Thanks to the victory, Real is just like Atlético on 32 points.

'De Koninklijke' has played two more games and a worse goal difference than the townsman, who therefore leads the way.

Atlético already won at Real Sociedad on Tuesday (0-2).
