Double World Cup gold medalist Alex Morgan leaves Super League team Tottenham after the turn of the year.
It announces the American football star on the club's website.
"I will forever be grateful to the club, my teammates and the supporters for taking good care of me," said Morgan.
The 31-year-old, who has scored 107 goals in 170 international appearances for the United States, came to Tottenham from the American League and Orlando Pride in September.
She played a total of five matches for the London club and accounted for two goals.
It is unclear in which club Morgan will continue his career.
