Swenn Larsson sustained the injury when she branched a cane.
- Immediately it did not feel so dangerous, was more like a real blow, but pretty quickly the pain got worse and then I understood pretty quickly that it was a little more serious, she says in a press release.
Six weeks absence
She is plastered and is traveling to Sweden today.
She's gone for six weeks.
- I have seen the X-rays and that is what we can call an ankle fracture.
Anna is plastered and will fly home as soon as possible and then we do further examinations in Sweden, says the national team doctor Jakob Swanberg in a press release.
She has not undergone any surgery, it is uncertain if there will be any.
It is also unclear what will happen to the World Cup in Cortina.
February 20 slalom will be decided in the Cortina WC.
