Today's sprint competitions in Östersund consisted of three rounds for all skiers, where the skiers had a chance to move up and down after each.

After a long series of competitions, it was Jonna Sundling, Linn Svahn and Frida Karlsson who proved to be the strongest in the decisive finish.

Sundling and Svahn pulled away the rest but Karlsson continued to chase a podium place.

"Had full show to follow"

Karlsson took in at the end and all three finished in a strong sprint.

But first in was Svahn, closely followed by Sundling and then Karlsson in third place.

-Jonna has been very strong today and I have had a full show to follow.

Had to toil pretty much all day.

Jonna should have great praise, says Svahn to Sportbladet.

And that Sundling picked up speed in the races was something she herself was aware of.

"We push each other"

- I really wanted to race out so it would be a good and tough session.

It is incredibly good for our development that we push each other, says Sundling.

Anna Dyvik completed the qualifier but was forced to break the competition due to back problems.
