Al-Ahly Saudi determines its position on Omar Alsumah

Today, Wednesday, press reports revealed that the management of the Saudi Al-Ahly Club, headed by Abdul-Ilah Moumina, reached an agreement with the Syrian striker Omar Al-Somah to renew his contract for the next three seasons.

The Saudi Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported that sources revealed to it that only some details remain before the official announcement of the player's contract renewal.

Al-Somah's contract with Al-Ahly was supposed to expire on June 30, 2021, which means that he was entitled to negotiate and sign for any team in January, provided that his departure would be free of charge next June.

Al-Somah returned to participate in Al-Ahly training after recovering from his infection with the new Corona virus, as the player's recovery represents a strong push for the team before the Al-Ain confrontation, scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup competitions.

Al Somah is one of the most prominent players in the Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Professional Cup League, and he has scored four goals this season so far.

Al-Somah, 31, played 196 official matches with Al-Ahly, during which he scored 172 goals and scored 16 goals.
