The president of Al-Ahly Saudi clarifies the fact that Omar Al-Somah has moved to Al-Hilal

The president of the Saudi Al-Ahly club, Abd al-Ilah Mumina, denied the validity of the reports confirming the refusal of the Syrian international Omar Al-Somah to renew his contract with Al-Raqi for a period of one season.

"Al Somah will not leave Al-Ahly in the coming period," Momena said in televised statements carried by Saudi websites, including "Saudi", stressing his adherence to the star of the team this season.

Al Somah's contract with his Saudi team expires in June 2021, and he has the right to sign any club in January for free.

Saudi reports have confirmed that the Syrian star is close to representing Al-Hilal, starting next season, with a three-year contract.

She explained that Al-Ahly made an offer for one season only to the player who wanted to stay for the longest time in Jeddah due to his private work and the presence of his family, which made him refuse to extend his contract for one season only.

The president of Al-Ahly responded to the news recently received about the signing of Al-Somah on his contracts to join Al-Hilal, saying: Al-Somah continues with Al-Ahly Club, because he loves the entity and its fans, and he will not go to any club and we will definitely preserve it.

Al-Ahly ranks second in the Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Professionals Cup League table, with 16 points, three points behind Al-Hilal, the "leaders".
