After a two-year break, Swedish Nils van der Poel chose earlier this year to make a comeback and bet on the Olympics in Beijing. Today, in his first international competition since the 2018 World Cup, he struck with the seventh fastest time ever. 24-year-old van der Poel was currently recorded at 12.46.91 in the 10,000 meters. It is a personal record with 18 seconds, a track record in German Inzell and the seventh fastest anyone has ever ridden in the distance.
