Rikako Ikee, a swimmer, has entered the women's 100-meter freestyle at the FINA World Swimming Championships next month.

Ikee will be competing in the race for the first time since October.

After returning to the competition from leukemia in August, Ikee participated in two competitions, but after that he did not participate in the race and focused on strengthening basic physical fitness.

According to the people concerned, Ikee has been training steadily and will compete in the 25-meter short water pool at the Tokyo Tatsumi International Swimming Center next month as the next race to participate in the "Tokyo New Year Swimming Tournament". It means that she entered the women's 100-meter freestyle.

If I participate, it will be the race for Ikee since the Japan Student Championship in October.

After returning to the competition, Ikee has been focusing on the 50m freestyle for individual events, and it will be interesting to see what kind of swimming he will show in the 100m freestyle that he entered this time.
