Kalmar FF had a good starting position before the match after turning 0-1 into a 3-1 victory away against J-Södra in the first qualifying match.

In Sunday's meeting, Filip Sachpekidis ran through after nine minutes but his finish went close outside, in a half that belonged to Kalmar and ended goalless.

J-Södra had needed a goal to shake life in the double meeting but did not get it.

Instead, Kalmar scored the only goal of the match through Nils Fröling who came free and placed the ball in the 80th minute.

A minute later, Jönköping got a penalty, but it did not go in goal either.

Amir Al-Ammari's penalty was weak and Lucas Hägg went right and saved.

When

Last Elm brother to quit

Kalmar FF plays in the Allsvenskan 2021, but they do it without any of the Elm brothers for the first time in a long time.

For Kalmar FF, it was the last time that someone in the brother trio Elm was on the field.

The oldest brother David Elm put his shoes on the shelf in 2018, little brother Rasmus took off in March this year and now his middle brother Viktor, 35, also thanks him.

Viktor Elm started the match but was replaced at half time.

No home win since May

It is worth noting that the victory is the first at home since June this year, when they defeated Helsingborg at Fredriksskans.

To find a victory at Guldfågeln Arena, you have to go back as far as May 2019, when they also beat Helsingborg.
