When the Real Madrid stars stroll from the parking lot to the training pitches, they automatically look at Ferenc Puskas.

The Hungarian striker and playmaker genius is the only one of numerous Real legends whose bust is there.

And there is still awe of this great footballer, whom they have never seen play, among today's generation of players.

But wondrous things are still told today.

Puskas was only really happy on the ball. Until the end of his life he was driven, torn between worlds. On November 17, 2006, he succumbed to pneumonia after suffering from dementia for a long time. A strict father, a name change, an escape, a professional ban - it was a complicated life.
