The International Skating Union announced on the 10th that it will cancel the Grand Prix of Figure Skating due to the spread of the new coronavirus.
The Grand Prix Final of Figure Skating is a tournament in which the top performers of the Grand Prix series will participate, and this season was scheduled to be held in Beijing this month as a test tournament for the 2022 Beijing Olympics.
Last month, the International Skating Union abandoned the tournament in Beijing due to the effects of the new coronavirus and was considering holding it outside of China, but announced on the 10th that it would be cancelled.
In addition, the European Championship, which was scheduled to be held in Croatia next month, has also been cancelled.
