In Romania too, it does not work.

Romanian Sports Minister Ionut Stoe reacted to racist remarks by Sebastian Coltescu, 4th referee in the match between Paris Saint-Germain and Istabul Basaksehir.

The latter, he told the DigiTv channel, “strongly condemns any comments that can be interpreted as racist, xenophobic or discriminatory.

I apologize on behalf of Romanian sport for this unfortunate incident, which does not represent us.

"

The match was interrupted and postponed to Wednesday 6:55 p.m. after players from both teams joined the locker room in protest.

The referee of the match has been changed for the second kick-off, which will be given by Dutchman Danny Makkelie.
