The Swedish world four, born in Uddevalla but living in Oslo, lost on points against the Italian Marvin Vettori after five tough rounds.

Afterwards, he was taken to hospital with a broken toe and a fracture in the eye socket and therefore did not do any interviews.

Once back in Oslo, he gives an update about his condition over the phone.

- Right now I feel shit, I must say.

That's not good then.

I'm in pain, I'm tired, I'm jet lag.

And then a loss in the luggage.

It sucks, says "The Joker".

After a few hours in the hospital in Las Vegas, he was released and allowed to go home.

But now new surveys are waiting in Norway.

- I am currently in a ten-day quarantine, but actually have to go to the hospital so I am reading about what applies.

"I saw twice"

On Tuesday, he also watched the losing match afterwards and tried to analyze what went wrong.

In a sequence halfway into the first round, Hermansson was floored by a blow.

That's when he got the fracture in the eye socket.

- I tried to manage the time out in round one and clear up in my head.

But when the round is over and I stand up, I think "what the hell is going on?".

I did not feel particularly shaken by the blow, but saw twice and did not understand why it did not disappear, he says and continues:

- It felt like our entire match plan disappeared there.

The plan was that I would be lighter on my feet and use a lot of movement and kicks.

But in the second round I did not know what to do.

I saw twice.

Everything was distorted.

In the third round I break my toe and did not dare to kick as much anymore.

- When I was not able to carry out our technical plan, it was just a war.

It was a boxing match at close range and it is really the last thing we wanted.

It was mostly heart at the end.

Wants to meet Darren Till

How do you look back on your efforts?

- It can always be worse.

So, it's really fucking sour because it did not become the match picture I prepared for, but it is sometimes.

I can only do better in the next match.

I want to drive again as soon as my body allows.

Do you feel that this was a step back?

- Yes, a loss is always a small step back.

The dream of the title is moved forward a little grand.

Now I have to win a match first before I can start talking about titles again.

What do you see in front of you on the way to a title match?

- With the right match in the next match, it does not have to be too far away.

I would still like to meet Darren Till (ranked sixth in the world, reds note).

He also comes from a loss so that would be a good match.

If I beat him, I'm still up there at the top and then the dreams are within reach.
