There were strong feelings after this generation finally succeeded.

- It's so much fun to do this together, no tears now.

We have fought from being alternated and then we have fought for the podium.

Now we finally get to step to the top.

It's magical, says Mona Brorsson about the long journey and talks in her mouth with newcomers Johanna Skottheim and Elvira Öberg who are bubbling with joy.

When Öberg smiled and crossed the finish line, the other girls rushed forward to hug.

France was second in the race, while Germany was third.

- It's time, says SVT's expert Helena Ekholm, who was part of the team that last won in January 2011.

See when Helena Ekholm decides the relay for Sweden 2011

Before the last shot: "She was on her heels"

Before the last shot, Hanna was ten seconds ahead of the Frenchwoman Justine Braisaz-Bouchet and took plenty of time but only needed to take one extra shot while the Frenchwoman needed two.

Öberg then went out with a 20-second lead.

- She was on her heels and I had to fight with an extra shot, says Öberg.

- It is a proof that we are a very strong team and a good training before the start of the hunt tomorrow, says Öberg who will only go out after the victory in the sprint on Thursday.

Elvira prayed for big sister Hanna and gave her the lead

Little sister Elvira went out as second on her third leg and switched as number one to final big sister Hanna.

It was eleven seconds down to chasing France.

When Elvira got her last shot standing, Hanna clapped her hands at the goal area.

Second leg Mona Brorsson switched as second, nine seconds behind France.

Brorsson cared for the shots and was slow on the dike with an extra shot but kept it together.

- I feel satisfied with the distance, to change as second is not a shame, says Brorsson.

Extremely good skis in the Swedish team

Johanna Skottheim made a stable first leg and switched second, a few seconds behind Belarus.

- We had such good skis that it almost felt unfair to the other countries when we left the stadium, says Skottheim.

Norway's Karoline Knotten on the first leg had lost 1.12 in the first shot after a fall and a nervous shot where she had to pick extra shots.

After the second shot, Norway had lost to 2.20 behind and the race just continued.

Norway finished eight, over three minutes behind Sweden.

- It was really inspiring after Sebbe's effort, Elvira said before the start, something the others agreed on afterwards when the Swedish success day was summed up.

Ahead of today's relay, Norway had seven straight victories in the World Cup, while Sweden took its latest victory almost ten years ago.

Norway finished eight, over three minutes behind Sweden.
