On special stage 8, Dani Sordo and World Cup leader Elfyn Evans were the fastest, just before Ott Tänak.

The only one who fell slightly on Saturday is the Finn Esapekka Lappi who had some nice distances on Friday and was second before the day.

He has dropped down to a fifth place.

If Friday was filled with exits, collisions with concrete sows and hay bales, so-called "tractor eggs", it was Ole Christian Veiby who lost about three minutes when his car was out and "swam" on a muddy slope.

- I braked a little late and the car ended up on a very muddy field for a while, Veiby said after the stretch.

Slump for Tidemand but Solberg fast

For the Swedes, it has been up and down.

In WRC2, Pontus Tidemand drove in fourth and last on the better distances and lost his first place to a third.

In WRC3, Oliver Solberg had the third best time on the 7th line and also drove well on the 8th and looks to hold the third place overall.
