Norway disappeared and now also Sweden.

The competition season for the rest of the year is canceled.

The announcement did not bring any great joy to the Swedish national team.

- It's extremely sad.

I and many others have been looking forward to competing throughout the summer and have been tagged on it.

But you have to accept the situation in the world and the decisions that the medical team makes.

They take them for our sake, even if you are disappointed and want to compete.

Did the riders agree with the decision, did you agree?

- All skiers thought it worked very well in Ruka and we felt safe there.

We were prepared to take some risks to compete and that is what you have in mind.

But then we have always known that we have a team behind that makes the decisions for us.

How is the mood in the group now?

- Everyone thinks it's sad that there will be no competitions.

But you have to set new goals and aim for new competitions.

Do you think that Sweden or Fis should have acted earlier?

- I am glad that I got to compete in Ruka and think that a good job was done there.

Then the situation changes due to the spread of infection and new decisions are made before each trip.

We realized early on that one must be ready for the situation to change along the way.

Are you buying the decision?

- You can buy it.

They make the decisions for us and everyone in the team and then you have to respect that.

Then you can not be selfish.

A decision will be made about the Tour de Ski later.

Do you want to drive?

- My goal has changed now that there will be no competitions on two weekends and I want to run the tour.

Before the decision, the idea was to train then.

I think most people want to run the tour now.

More will take advantage when there are competitions again.

I think most people are positive about that.

The World Cup will be an even clearer goal and you will focus on even fewer races than having a complete competition season.
