The Real Madrid star is the first letter when it comes to hitting free kicks and corners with his right foot.

And she does not hide behind a chair that her sense of contribution is a key to the Swedish assault weapon.

- There are others who can beat them, but I am well "untouchable" on the corners.

And even on the free kicks, the delivery has been correct for a long time.

There are probably some others who also take them in their club teams, so we do not stand and fall with me, but I have high quality on my regulars, says Kosovar Asllani.

21 goals on fasting

High tail guidance, perhaps.

But Asllani has statistics to prove his point.

Sweden scored a breathtaking 40 goals in eight matches in the European Championship qualifiers, and of these, as many as 21 came in some form of fixed situation.

Four of six goals in Tuesday's international match against Slovakia (6-0), the last in the qualifiers, came, for example, after free kicks or corners hit by the 31-year-old.

- Quite honestly, I think we are the best in the world in fixed situations right now.

I do not know if you can produce statistics on it, but it feels like we are the national team that scores the most goals in fixed situations.

It feels like we score a goal on it in every match.

And that is important, because in the most important matches, fixed situations can be crucial.

"Can be match decisive"

Chelsea defender Jonna Andersson usually takes many of the corners that are to be hit with the left foot.

And she shares the feeling that Sweden is extremely good at fixed situations at the moment.

She also says, just like Asllani, that it is not only in matches against teams like Slovakia that it is an important resource.

- We emphasize in every match that we are incredibly strong on set pieces, both on free kicks and corners.

It is something we practice and press.

In matches like this, we get a lot of corners and free kicks and then it is important to take advantage of it.

But in some tough matches, it can be the fixed situations that are decisive in the match and we know that we are strong there, says Jonna Andersson.

In the match against Slovakia, national team captain Peter Gerhardsson could also happily state that many of the goals in fixed situations were created in a very special way.

Several were not made directly on the corner or the free kick, but by Swedish players catching the second ball in the mess in front of goal.

He calls it "fall fruit", and eight of Sweden's goals during the qualifiers have been scored in just that way.

- We have both trained and talked about "fall fruit", and today there were probably three or four fall fruit goals.

It is important after fixed situations to be very alert and aggressive, we have players who are good at catching such balls.

So it was no coincidence that we made fall fruit goals today.

We are good at it, says Gerhardsson.
