Johannes Hösflot Kläbo said that he will skip the World Cup competitions in Davos and Dresden in December.

He can return when the Tour de Ski begins on New Year's Day.

But another Norwegian star will return after the Tour de Ski at the earliest.

Emil Iversen thinks that the risks of traveling are too great during the corona pandemic.

- I feel that skiing is not so important in relation to the pandemic that is now raging all over the world.

Everyone must do their part.

This is important to me, says Iversen.

Iversen is now aiming for the World Cup in Oberstdorf, which starts on February 23, 2021.

- This may provide an opportunity for us (Iversen and Kläbo) to be even better prepared to take World Cup medals.

Therefore, it is not worth taking a chance as the situation is now.

This year it is the World Cup that counts and it goes quickly there.

Now we also get to see what it will be like to train more instead of going to all races, says Iversen.
