That Real Madrid lose at home does not happen often, especially not when they face teams that are not normally top teams.
But that was exactly what happened when they hosted Alaves tonight, who last season were only three points from the relegation line.
Early Alaves penalty
But the fact is that it was not even very unfair.
Already after six minutes, Alaves received a penalty after a corner was nodded on Real defender Nachhor Fernandez's arm, and Lucas Perez managed the penalty safely.
And already after three minutes of play in the second half, Alaves made it 2-0 - after a huge offer from goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
