At most, the Netherlands led by ten points with 100 seconds left in the match.

Sweden remained, however, and was as close as 76-77 with seconds left, but the Netherlands managed the two-pointer and Sweden remains in third place in Group D.

Chris Czerapowicz became the best scorer in Sweden with 21 points.

On Sunday, a match awaits against group two Croatia, also in Istanbul.

Croatia meets Turkey later on Friday and then has a chance to take back the lead in the group.
