The corona crisis has hit hard even against one of the world's richest clubs.
According to the BBC, Barcelona reported a loss of around SEK 1 billion in the latest financial statements.
Therefore, players and coaches now offer to go down in salary, an agreement that applies for the rest of the season.
Following a verbal agreement, "Barça" announces that the club will save 122 million euros, equivalent to around 1.24 billion kronor, thanks to the salary cuts.
"This is a milestone of great importance in redirecting the current economic situation," the club wrote.
