The Norwegian national team was quarantined after Myhr Nossum tested positive on arrival in Ruka, Finland, ahead of this weekend's World Cup premiere, but a new test today proved to be negative.

Thus, the Norwegian squad is now released from quarantine, writes Sportbladet, which refers to a press release from the Norwegian federation.

- The PCR test that was done is now confirmed negative.

This means that the antigen test first taken was false positive.

Eirik is healthy and without any kind of symptoms.

We have been informed that the Finnish authorities do not give either Eirik or us any extra restrictions and we can plan for ski competitions, says national team doctor Öystein Andersen in the press release according to Sportbladet.

According to NRK, this means that the Norwegian skiers can train and compete as planned in Ruka.
