Maradona's name has been closely associated with the city of Dubai in the last decade, in which he lived for nearly six years. From there, he underwent two training experiences with Al Wasl and Fujairah, and worked for a period of three to four years as a consultant to the Dubai Sports Council, and as an ambassador for sports in Dubai.
