The top of the German Football Association wants to discuss the situation of the national team and the future of national coach Joachim Löw on December 4th.

DFB director Oliver Bierhoff will then present an analysis of the most recent 0: 6 in Spain and the “overall development of the team in the past two years”, the association announced on Monday.

"The DFB Presidium has unanimously adopted a timetable to collect, evaluate and advise on findings," says the message: "This also provides for giving the national coach the temporal and emotional distance, the current situation of the national team Fundamentally. In a sporty way, to analyze the causes of the clear defeat in Seville. And personally, to come to terms with your own great disappointment.

After the meeting, the DFB will "provide information about the results of the deliberations and the next steps at the appropriate time".

Due to the bankruptcy in Spain, the national team had missed the finals of the Nations League.

The next block of three international matches is not due until the end of March.

It will be the last before the squad is nominated for the EM in the summer.

Löw is heavily criticized.

Immediately after the defeat in Spain, DFB President Fritz Keller and Bierhoff had assured the national coach of their support.

In the Presidium, however, there are evidently also voices that are critical of the spontaneous support.
