Ajax and FC Utrecht were linked together on Saturday in the draw for the second round of the TOTO KNVB Cup.

PSV is waiting for an away match against De Graafschap, while Feyenoord and AZ have been released.

Only 23 clubs went into the tube, because it was recently decided by the KNVB to remove all amateur clubs from the tournament due to the corona rules.

The decision meant that nine clubs would be released.

In addition to Feyenoord and AZ, these are sc Heerenveen, Heracles Almelo, ADO Den Haag, Fortuna Sittard, FC Volendam, NEC and MVV.

Ajax-FC Utrecht is the top poster in the second round.

With Willem II-Vitesse and FC Emmen-FC Groningen, there are two more matches in which two clubs from the Eredivisie face each other.

De Graafschap-PSV, Almere City-VVV-Venlo, Excelsior-PEC Zwolle and SC Cambuur-Go Ahead Eagles are the other duels in the second round.

The competitions are on December 15, 16 and 17.
