Gaël Pelletier, president of HBC Nantes, launched his appeal for support through a letter.

The one who was one of the few leaders opposed to the continuation of competitions behind closed doors does not hide the current economic difficulties of his club, which has also not been spared by the Covid-19 since the start of the season.

“We are digging into the equity to ensure the salaries of the players and employees of the club and are fighting not to abandon our training and Academy project that we have been developing for 10 years now, saving euro after euro, season after season.

"

By addressing the subscribers (they are a little more than 2,200), the Nantes president therefore calls "for your support which, in this period of vagueness and succession of inconsistencies, is our only lantern".

And he proposes to those who would renounce the reimbursement of their subscription "to include the first and last names of each subscriber on the official 2021-2022 jersey and on the" wall of support "within the H Arena".

Some fans have already decided they are going to support the HBCN.

The group of supporters, the Ultr'H, even called for not being reimbursed.
