On Saturday, it premieres in the World Cup competition in slalom.

And after the national team in the Swedish Ski Association has started the pre-season and the camp activities, they follow a protocol.

The day before departure for Finland, an antigen test was taken - which was negative.

- We have routines where we check the temp and signs of symptoms every morning, Christian Thoma has followed that protocol, but has not had any symptoms at all, says national team manager Lars Melin in the press release.

"Will be tested further"

No one else in the Swedish squad has shown a positive corona test - and can continue the recharging before this weekend's slalom premiere in the World Cup in Levi.

- For the rest of the team that is in place in Finland, the preparations continue according to plan.

It is training tomorrow morning, but we will be tested further tomorrow, says Melin.

Lars Melin, who traveled with Christian Thoma, has been tested negative but is quarantined.
