In the first store of the Universiade’s official licensed image store in a shopping mall in Chengdu, Sichuan, the creative products blending Universiade and Sichuan elements attracted many citizens to shop.
[Explanation] It is understood that the first store of the official licensed image store of the Chengdu Universiade, covering an area of about 50 square meters, opened on the 11th of this month, displaying and selling more than 200 products developed by the Universiade, involving stationery, clothing, jewelry, and ceramics. Now the prices of these categories of Universiade licensed products are actually below one hundred yuan. The pricing of all products is very grounded, that is, we want all products that every citizen can afford and are willing to buy. Bring the Universiade culture, Chengdu culture, and even some of our Chinese culture to all parts of the world.
[Explanation] Zhou Lei, the franchise manager of the Development Activities Department of the Chengdu Universiade Executive Committee, said that franchised merchandise combines the vitality of the Universiade with the charm of Chengdu, bringing consumers a different visual experience and cultural perception.
In the future, the Executive Committee also plans to deploy retail in multiple core business districts in Chengdu, and at the same time open the first stores nationwide in other cities in China to expand the economic circle of the "Universal Mall".

We may open 10 to 20 stores in Chengdu in the future.
We will also focus on retail layout throughout the country and open our first Universiade stores. We are already selecting locations in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, and Chongqing. Shop, share our licensed products to the whole country.
In addition, next year, we will also take cross-border e-commerce as an important retail channel that we will focus on laying, because the Universiade is also backed by the 3.1 billion young people around the world. According to the plan, by the end of April 2021, all 49 newly renovated venues for the Universiade will be completed.
Zhou Lei introduced that as the pace of the Universiade approaches, ten major series of events and dozens of major milestones will be put on the agenda, such as the torch relay of the Universiade worldwide and famous entrepreneurs entering the campus.
