Every day, Anicet Mbida makes us discover an innovation that could well change the way we consume.

This Friday, he is interested in a box that sends sound directly to the ears, without headphones or headphones.

The innovation of the day is a box that projects sound directly into our ears.

We will be able to listen to music without headphones and without disturbing those around us.

Music, but also anything else.

Example: you put this box on your computer, your TV or even your landline, and only you will hear.

You will even be able to move, move around, the sound will follow you exactly as if you were wearing a helmet.

Except that here there isn't.

We're not locked up.

We will also hear everything that is happening in the room.

In fact, the box uses 3D cameras that will detect the position of your ears.

Then, it'll send you directional sound waves right into the right place, creating immersive sound as if you have speakers all around you.

This means that we can have the same effects as in the cinema: the famous helicopter that we hear coming from behind and then go up in front.

And can it work with several people for a TV night?

No Unfortunately.

For now, it only works with one person.

But in principle, this should be possible, in a future model equipped with several cameras.

It is a technology of the Israeli startup Noveto Systems.

For the moment, it is only marketed to professionals so that they can integrate it into their products.

For example: car manufacturers so that only the driver can hear the GPS.

Or museums to be able to stand in front of a painting and be the only one to have the guide's explanations.

A model intended for the general public is however planned, but not until next year.

It will be called the SoundBeamer 1.0.
