Since February 27, 2017 and a preliminary investigation opened by the National Financial Prosecutor's Office (PNF), Waldemar Kita, the Nantes president, has been suspected of tax fraud.

What is especially in the sights of investigators is the tax domicile of the Franco-Polish businessman, said the daily

L'Equipe on

Thursday.

In 2017, its holding company Flava Groupe, which owns the FCN, was domiciled in Uccle, Belgium, a popular place for wealthy people.

For the State, the damage from this tax fraud, if it is really real, would amount to at least 10 million euros.

Waldemar Kita, who is still presumed innocent, could be summoned to appear before the criminal court.

A seized property of the Kita

According to the daily

L'Equipe

, seizures took place this year, between February and April.

They relate to a yacht.

This would have been the subject of a restitution against the seizure on a bank account of a sum equivalent to the value of the boat (2.5 million euros), because the State would have been responsible for it.

A property located in Paris and belonging to the couple Waldemar and Chantal Kita was also seized.

In June, Franck Kita, the club's deputy general manager and the president's son, explained: “We are in a normal procedure.

Our lawyers have already responded.

We are not going to dwell on the president's fiscal situation.

We will focus on the athlete.

There will be no impact for the club.

It is a classic tax audit with classic measures.
