Fujairah eliminates Ajman from the cup ... and is waiting for victory in the quarter-finals

Today, the Fujairah team reached the quarter-finals of the Arab Gulf Cup for football, after it repeated its victory over Ajman 2/1 in the match that took place between them, at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium.

Fujairah, who had previously won the first leg over Orange, hit a date with Al Nasr, the title holder, in the second phase of the competition.

The visiting team succeeded in turning their back behind, after Ajman advanced with a goal scored by Issam Sahitit, with the 50th minute, to return the wolves to a draw through Firas Al Arabi "61", and then Farley Rosa was able to advance to his team, "69".

The match was poor in the first half, as the game was confined to the center of the field without a real threat to the two goals, except for one opportunity for Fujairah striker Salem Al-Rouhi, who was in a confrontation with the goal, but he threw the ball over the bar.

The situation dissipated in the second half, as there were numerous offensive attempts from both sides, and Al-Orange was able to translate his preference for a goal, but the defensive lapses and the lack of experience of the goalkeeper, Youssef Ahmed, prevented Ajman from maintaining his advance.
