Dubai begins preparing for the return of 30% of the public to the football stadiums

The Dubai Sports Council discussed, during a coordination meeting, held by the Secretary-General of the Dubai Sports Council, Saeed Hareb, with executives in clubs, football companies, and sectors of sports companies in Dubai, arrangements to confirm the readiness of the emirate's clubs for the return of the masses to the stadiums and halls, by adopting A protocol for the return of the masses, approved by the Executive Council of Dubai Government.

According to a statement issued by the Dubai Sports Council, it was agreed to conduct field visits, in coordination with representatives of the Dubai Police, and to address the relevant federations, including the Football Association and the Professional League, for the gradual return of the masses by 30% of the facility's capacity.

The council obliges clubs to submit a detailed weekly report on cases of infection with the Coronavirus, in the event that any of the system members are exposed to them.

During the meeting, the Dubai Sports Council reviewed the decision of the Board of Directors to adopt the new mechanism for evaluating clubs and football companies through the Sports Excellence Model. Field visits will be made to clubs and football companies to explain the content of the system, the evaluation schedule, delivery dates and the date of the award ceremony.

The meeting of the leaders of the Dubai Sports Council with the executives of clubs, football companies and sectors of sports companies in Dubai came within the framework of following up the implementation of the decisions of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, regarding the development of national cadres in various fields of work in Clubs and sports companies, appointing assistant national coaches in team games, and controls for appointing and evaluating supervisors and administrators in sports clubs and companies.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Secretary General Nasser Aman Al Rahma, Executive Director of Al Wasl Football Company, Muhammad Ali Amer, Executive Director of the Sports Sector at Al Shabab Al Ahly Club, Majed Sultan, Executive Director of Dubai Club for People of Determination, Majid Al Osaimi, and CEO of Hatta Football Company. Ali Al-Badwawi, Executive Director of Dubai Maritime Club, Muhammad Hareb, Director of Sports Games Company at Al-Nasr Cultural and Sports Club, Ahmed Al-Janahi, Executive Director of Dubai Chess Club, Muhammad Al-Husseini, and Director of Al-Nasr Football Academy, Ahmed Saleh.

Saeed Hareb stressed the implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to develop work and support national competencies, and to issue legislation and laws that support the efforts of clubs to achieve their goals, optimal investment of their resources, and make them an attractive environment for the people of the country to practice their favorite sports, and to develop their abilities in an ideal atmosphere. In a way that enhances the personality of the people of the country, and develops their artistic, athletic capabilities and competitive potential.

The statement explained: “The decision of His Highness the President of the Council No. 4 of 2020 regarding the assistant national coaches in group games, and the importance of the presence of qualified citizen cadre in clubs, as it was decided to provide the Council with the information of the assistant coaches for the sports season 2020-2021 in the group games (football, football).
