The Swede was in the lead during the first two days, including after a hole-in-one on the first round, but the last day was destroyed by three bogeys on the first nine holes and the Swede was noted for 72 strokes.

Hedwall finally got the game in order and was noted for three birdies in the second half of the course, but it was not enough to catch up with Minjee Lee, Australia, who won, after a special game against the Frenchwoman Celine Boutier.

Hedwall finished split third, one stroke from the lead.
