It was on Wednesday at the ladies' training in Kåbdalis, Jokkmokk, that the accident occurred.
- It was the first ride in the first turns when I slipped and it hit and I was sent right up while I heard how it clicked in the knee, she says and continues:
- Then I immediately felt that goodbye, it did not feel so good and so it hurt a lot before it disappeared again.
"Feels really dirty"
Less than a year ago, Emelie Henning, Järfälla AK, took her first victory in the European Cup when she won the parallel competition in Kronplatz, Italy.
And before this season, it has looked really good and she had most likely started in the slalom premiere in Levi in two weeks.
- It has actually gone very well all season, I feel, especially in the slalom.
It's just floated on so that way it feels really dirty actually.
She also has three starts in the World Cup from last season - but no result because she went out in all competitions.
21-year-old Henning will undergo surgery on Wednesday.
- Everything has gone so fast so it's great.
If you want to see something positive in it, it is probably the right season to deduct it because competitions are supposed to be canceled due to corona.
