Tetsuya Kokubo, 35, who contributed to the league championship for the first time in 25 years as a player chairman in professional baseball Hiroshima, has become a free contract and will be leaving the team for this season only.

Kokubo is 35 years old from Nara prefecture.



I joined Hiroshima in 2008 after passing through Aoyama Gakuin University from PL Gakuen in Osaka.



A right-handed batter who has the dexterity to defend multiple positions in the infield and strong batting, he has been established in the 1st army from the first year and has participated in 704 games in 13 years.



The batting average is 20%, 5 minutes and 9 minutes.



In 2016, he became the player's chairman and led the team to victory in the league for the first time in 25 years with his own leadership.



So far this season, he has only participated in two games, and according to the team, he respected his will and decided not to sign a contract for next season, but to make it a free contract.
