About 50 fans gathered yesterday outside the clinic where Maradona is being cared for after his operation. The doctor who operated on the football legend was greeted with huge cheers when he announced that everything was going well. Maradona underwent surgery on Tuesday for a brain haemorrhage. The fans, who come from the football club Gimnasia y Esgrima where Maradona is the coach, had been waiting outside the hospital since Monday when he was admitted.
