The World Cup's first ten jumping competitions were canceled due to covid-19.

The World Cup should have started in Oslo two weeks ago, but now all but one of the competitions have been canceled, Leipzig in January.

The World Cup final in Gothenburg is also still on the schedule.

With this weekend's competitions from Verona canceled, SVT is instead focusing on Skövde and the indoor SM.

SVT's commentators Maria Wallberg and Lotta Björe are on site at Grevagården, on Sunday, for the senior final.

- There will be a glimmer of light in our otherwise perhaps somewhat dark everyday life.

I'm really looking forward to the Swedish Championships, there will be good competitions, says Lotta Björe.

Strong starting field

The starting field in Skövde is strong, with names like Peder Fredricson, Douglas Lindelöw, Stephanie Holmén, Fredrik Jönsson, Irma Karlsson, Helena Persson, Emma Emanuelsson and Bruce Goodin.

- Several have been away at smaller international competitions, others have trained in shape.

Now it will be exciting to see where everyone stands in a comparison.

The first round is ridden on Friday and from there the top 20 advance to Sunday's final, which is broadcast starting at 15:00, on SVT2 and SVT Play.
