It is now official.
The organizers of the Jumping de Bordeaux announced on Tuesday the cancellation of the 2021 edition due to the Covid-19 epidemic.
It was to be held from February 4 to 7 as part of the Horse Show at the Parc des Expositions.
“The teams had been working in recent months on different configurations to meet limitation and distancing requirements.
The strengthening of winter measures no longer makes it possible to meet the organizational and financial conditions for the face-to-face maintenance of the 2021 edition. We express deep disappointment at this, ”the organizers explained in a press release.
The latter will meet for the 47th edition from February 3 to 6, 2022. Until then, the Jumping de Bordeaux will be thinking about how to offer a virtual meeting to the public next February.
